Reflection Post

My favorite project this semester was the final video program.https://youtu.be/31l2_mlKOTE I have always really enjoyed video editing and I loved making my ESA video.

I think the most useful skill that I will use in the future is all the knowledge I gained around copyright. I want to go into social media management and the copyright laws are something that I will always need to know before I use an image.

For going into social media management, I believe that the video and photo editing course were the most useful units for me. Most of the social media platforms support both videos and photos. Managing and helping create the content posted on a company’s social media is my final goal. The Vector creating is also something that could be very useful if I get the chance to work with a be, up and coming, business!

No there aren’t any skills that I think I missed out on in this class. I think it did a very good job covering all the basics and giving enough time to learn each program. The tutorials were arguably the most fun part of the different units, for me. Except the illustrator unit. During the illustrator unit, my favorite part was the final logo. It was very rewarding to see my designed logo come to life.

There weren’t any outside sources provided, that I found to be extremely useful. Although I did use and know of dafonts.com before taking this class and if I did not already know about it, it would have been a very useful source for future projects. Dafonts is a great site for free-to-use creative fonts!

All in all, I greatly enjoyed this course and the creative opportunities that it gave me throughout this semester. This class was easily my favorite class so far and it makes me look forward to my upcoming communications classes!
