Here is my draft video! I definitely don’t think that it is the project that I want to turn in as my final. Although, I think it is good enough for a draft. I want to add some more fact or statistics about emotional support animals to where the logo is and make it longer. I think these facts or statistics would support my argument much more. I also, reflecting on my story board I want to add words that I can get of the owners saying how their emotional support animal makes them feel. Having these individuals saying how their emotional support animal makes them feels will bring in those different voices and in turn make it more personal. Not just me speaking on behalf of all emotional support animal owners.
I started this video with my voice over from the raw videos and a video of the dogs playing. It is not that video that I turned in for the raw footage, because since that I took a better video of the dogs playing that I think seems to bring a smile to your face. After that I added the ambient music that we have used in past project and then I also added pictures of emotional support animals (that all happen to be dogs) and included their owners names so you got more of a sense of the emotional support animal and not just the dog, as if it was a random dog stock photo.
I still have a lot to add to my video before I make my final but I am happy with wear it sits for the draft.
I agree with you, I do think that you will be able to improve your video for the final. I would look into having your audio a little slower at the beginning of the video. You are talking so fast that I cant follow. I also would look into creating more video. I think the pictures at the end where nice, though they didn’t scream emotional support animals at me. That goes as well with the clip of the dogs playing at the beginning I was really a fan because it seemed like they were fighting. I did really enjoy how much great information you did have and would have loved if it was incorporated a bit more into your overall project! Great job though putting in so many different features for your project, I think with some improvement it will turn into an amazing video.

When I went to complete this project I only had one comment. That comment mostly agreed with what I said in the typed section of my draft post. I want to do something differently with the end of my video. I want to add something to it to make it more than just those pictures. I also want to find a different royalty free song to add to the background. Although I have one already, we used this one in class and I think it would be better for me to find another one. Bree also said that the opening sequence seemed that the dogs were playing too rough. Maybe I will slow down this clip and see if that helps. Otherwise I will have to film different clips of the dogs and fade them together. The last main thing I want to do is try to change the background color behind the photos, since they don’t fill the whole page the back background is the default and I want to find a way to change this. The black borders are too harsh for my liking.

I really enjoyed watching your draft video! If I would give you a few areas where you could improve your video I would say maybe try to add more video clips over the voice over. One suggestion I have for this is maybe showing a small scene of a dog “emotionally supporting” the person they are with. This could be a small clip of a person walking the dog or even a dog laying on a persons lap or next to them. One other suggestion I have is to maybe include words in your video. You could ass subtitles or some words that pop up randomly as you are talking to give the video more to it instead of just dogs playing which could become uninteresting. One area where you are already strong is the voiceover, it is pretty good and in a nice quiet spot with no background noise. Good job overall!
