Audio Final

This project was probably my most extensive yet! I started with a simple idea of where I wanted to go and then went straight to posing questions & giving interviews. Once I had the meat of the project I was able to then record the intro & the closing. I took a while before creating my draft thinking of how I would format the interviews, since they were two entirely different pieces. I didn’t want to make the final piece very long so I knew I couldn’t have myself asking the questions twice. So I cut up the individual interviews to just answers, keeping the questions from one of them. I pieced it all together eventually by asking the question, then receiving the two answers in the same order all the way though. I thought of this format from relating it to an interview of multiple people that you would see written down. Once formatted I added an intro and called it my draft. After my draft I decided I needed to rerecord the questions to sound more cohesive with the rest. I think before my questions sounded like a list, rather than individual questions. I also added a closing. After selecting on my feedback I agreed it needed one to make the entire piece flow well. After (re)recording and adding those my project now feels a lot more complete. Overall I think the project turned out well. Although, I do not think that audio media creation is my strong suite I do enjoy what I made and I think it represents well for the theme of Emotional Support Animals that I chose for the semester. I truly believe that this final project does show that ESAs are working for many different people and they are not just a joke or something that you can use to have your dog be able to take your dog where you want to. As I hope you’ve realized and recognized from this project, ESAs have a remarkable effect on so many people. These ESAs have an amazing effect on so many people, myself included, I just wanted them to get the true recognition that they deserve.
